Spring Lake completed the sweep by winning game two, 3-2 over Montague. Reid Grimmer started and pitched two innings allowing one hit and striking out 3. Oliver Smies got the win in relief, pitching the final three innings allowing 3 hits and striking out 7. The Lakers scored the wining run in the top of the fifth, when Alex Strauss walked, stole second, advanced to third on an over throw and then scored on an over throw at third. Ryan Fine, Alex Strauss and Rian Bates each had a hit for Spring Lake.
