The girls came ready for some quality soccer tonight against Unity, and I was really proud of the way they adjusted. With lower numbers on the team this year, I am asking a lot of this team. Girls are playing positions that still feel new to them, and we are finally finding great rhythm. It was great to see things really click tonight as we are learning more about each other, and getting used to each person's style of play. I thought our communication rocked tonight, and moving the ball quickly helped create some really great opportunities in front of the net for us. The girls wanted this game, and I was really proud of the way they played tonight. Addie Schmidt (10) recorded yet another shutout in goal for us tonight. Shoutout to our back line for being solid tonight as well. Our lone goal tonight came from Kam Lewis (9), about midway through the second half... Kam was able to keep a mis-cleared corner kick under control and get a great shot off past the keeper.
