Taking the line for a late 10:50 PM start under the stadium lights, the Lakers posted 178 points in a deep competitive field. Freshman Evelyn Goosen made an unforgettable high school debut, storming into the top five with a 5th-place finish and a time of 18:46.3. Senior Cora Parker provided veteran leadership at the front, taking 26th overall in 20:09.0 (SB).
