1-20-26 HS Boys Swim Meet @Spring Lake Team Scores Spring Lake 79.5 Ludington 67.5 Mona Shores 21 Spring Lake Record (1-0 OK Lakeshore / 7-0 Overall) After dealing with two days off due to Winter Storms, the Spring Lake Lakers HS Boys Swim/Dive Team got back to action tonight with a couple of wins over Mona Shores and Ludington. The Lakers started off the 25-26 OK Lakeshore Dual Meet Season by defeating Mona Shores to go 1-0 in the OK Lakeshore. The Lakers also picked up a Win over Ludington to improve to 7-0 on the season. It was great to be back and have some fun! With the extra rest, the Lakers Swam/Dove 25 Personal Records and Won 10/12 Events. Lakers Strong Team Depth was a big key tonight! Lakers were led by a strong Diving Core of Ben Goran (214.25pts), Madeline Vink (132.85 pts), and Keegan Quist (130.00pts), who went 1-2-3 in diving and scoring in the Personal Records 6 Dive Meet. Double Event Winners for the Lakers were Sophomore Arthur Fletcher in the 200 Free (1:55.85)/500 Free (5:11.59) and hooked up with Sam Otter, Arthur Fletcher, Alex Otter, and Lando Mendoza to win the 400 Free Relay 3:49.59. Freshman Dane Trask was first in the 200 IM (2:04.71 State Cut)/ 100 Breast (1:07.36). Dane was also part of the Winning 200 Medley Relay 1:46.21(Tyler Nutt-Russell, Cherney-Wesley, Mazurek-Graham Porter), Dane also teamed up (Wesley Mazurek, Alex Strauss, Patrick Goran) to win the 200 Free Relay 1:32.66.
