Both teams battled for every possession, with neither able to gain separation early. But in the third quarter, the Lakers seized control, finding their rhythm offensively and locking down defensively to secure a 40–33 victory. Kloe George led Spring Lake with 13 points, while Alex Botbyl added 10 and Baylee Andree chipped in 8. Botbyl also delivered a gritty defensive performance that helped keep the Crusaders in check throughout the night. Coach Cori Geoghan praised her team’s resilience: “Our defense sustained us through the first half and allowed us to stay in the game when shots weren't falling. We were able to come out in the second half, find some offensive rhythm, and finish the night with a big conference win.” With the win, Spring Lake improves to 6–2 and now turns its attention to Friday’s road matchup at Zeeland West.
