Milian 56 In a battle of some of the top-ranked D3 Schools in the State, the Spring Lake “Lakers” edge out host Holland Christian to take home First Place for the first time in the SL Swim/Dive Program's history. From start to finish, the Lakers battled and finished strong in all the Swimming/Diving events. The Lakers' team depth showed through in many events and was key to the Lakers' big win! Lakers Swim/Dive to a season high 39 Personal Records. and 8 official D3 Stat Meet Cut Times. Leading the way for the Lakers was Freshman Dane Trask, who was first in the 100 Fly with a New D3 State Cut 53.47, third in the 100 Back with a New D3 State Cut 51.73, and a lead-off 100 Free D3 State cut of 48.78 in the 400 Free Relay. Senior Alex Strauss was second in the 100 Fly with a new D3 State Cut 54.04 and was 3rd in the 100 Breast with a New D3 State Cut 1:02.45. Junior Graham Porter finished second in the 50 Free with a New D3 State Cut 21.88, and finished fourth in the 100 Free with a New D3 State Cut 48.27.
